Programme Overview
Offered over one year, the programme allows students to progress from foundational screen acting skills to advanced industry-ready performance. Training is practical, performance-led, and incorporates SSIPA’s signature blend of African performance traditions with global acting standards. Students receive hands-on experience in on-camera work, scene study, character development, audition technique, and screen performance projects.
Level 1: Foundations of Screen Acting
- Introduction to acting for camera, on-set etiquette, and technical awareness
- Scene study and script analysis
- Fundamentals of character development and emotional expression
- Voice, speech, and body awareness for screen

Level 2: Developing the Screen Actor
