Founded in 2020, the Sonwa Sakuba Institute for the Performing Arts (SSIPA) has emerged as a dynamic training centre for high- quality performing arts education in South Africa. Founded and based in Ku Gompo City (formerly East London), SSIPA now plays a vital national role in nurturing the next generation of multifaceted, industry-ready artists.
